What is your daily routine?

For those with bladder leakages like me, I am wondering what is your daily routine with pads and diapers.
I have sbo and I often leak a little bit during the day. I use mainly small pads that I change frequently, every 3 or 4 hours, so I use about 4 or 5 of them, and a lot of wet wipes. Some people don't use wet wipes because they say that the absorbent material keep the skin clean. It might be just my sensation but even if dry, I don't feel my skin clean when I take off the wet pad.
I am not completely satisfied with the pants style because, due to their difficulty to be changed, they are intended to be worn all day long, and I find that they become quite smelly at the end of the day, even if just a little bit wet.
At night I wear a big pad or, when not at home, a diaper for security and usually will last till next morning without the need for a change.
What are your experiences?

Sandra -- have you tried self-catheterization or meds to help with the leakage? The two together have worked for me; now I only get the occasional leak. If you haven't tried it yet, you might want to discuss it with your urologist.

Thanks for the hint! In reality I am able to void my bladder easily, I experienced small leakages when I do determinate action like sneezing, laughing, running... due to weak pelvic floor muscles. My sbo doesn't allow me to squeeze the muscles strongly enough to exercise them. Years of exercises with with electro stimulating devices have improved my condition but the problem is still persist a little bit.

I wear the Depends briefs both day and night . Because I have total urine incontinence I have to change them often , Ive tried cathing but I got auful infections plus I did not stay dry between caths . I find I dont have troubles with odor if I keep clean, wash the area often and use a good wipe plus barrier cream and lotions and such gosh with all the attention to hygene down there I'm probably cleaner tham most people . I carry a couple of extra briefs with me to work so I can change when needed there. My problem is I still get nervous and self conscious taking care of these needs outside the home . I find myself hiding in the restroom stall waiting until everyone leaves to change I'm afraid some will hear all the rustling , tape ripping etc that comes with changing an adult brief . Most likley no one gives a hoot what I'm doing or even notices , not is it any of their buisness . I also feel a bit self conscious because the depends can be a little bulky I just wish I did not feel stigmatized or embarassed by it sometimes .
