Hey everyone~
My name's Frankie and I'm 32, with Spina Bifida and I'm in a wheelchair. I don't remember for certain at what level mine is but anyhow, I'm also an aputee of my right leg above the knee, due in part to Osteomyelitus which presented itself in the early part of the year 2000. I've had more surgeries for various things that I can count on both hands. Let's see what else. Some of my hobbies include web page design, listening to and playing music (I've played keyboard since age 10). I ran across this board trying to find one that looked pretty active so I chose this one. I'd love to hear from any and all of you, so drop me a line!

~Frankie

P.s.
Don't let the name Frankie fool ya. I'm a guy. :)

Thanks for the welcome! I wanted to take lessons as a kid but not only could we not afford the lessons at the time but I think my mother thought I was a bit insane for even asking because as you and your wife know, with some pieces you have to use the pedals. So, as a comprimise, I took violin lessons until I was old enough to drive and went out and bought myself at the time, a $400 Casio keyboard and taught myself how to play and haven't stopped since! I've got a younger brother who's 23 and he mentioned that he would like to learn how to play piano but he keeps going between drums, accoustic guitar and piano leaving me to figure out which end is up! LOL

I'll keep you and anyone else who happens to read this thread what he finally decides on.

For now, I must take my leave but I again want to thank you for the welcome!
