This has been requested for some time. I am sure we will have some kinks as we get the new system in place but here are the basics.
Two groups have been created: Kids and Teens. Both have a special forum set up for them only. Both are going to be moderated by our wonderful team, xoblondie, dodger, and our newest mod Lisa Joy. Their moderation will be limited to safety issues. This is a place where people under 18 can discuss spina bifida and all that goes with it. It is our belief that they need a safe place to discuss some of the issues that affect them without mom and dad. For this reason, all registered members are blocked from viewing the area. Vice versa, they are blocked from reading all the things mom and dad posts on the board.
Kids under 13 present some legal issues and we will comply with all COPPA issues. You will need to give consent to kids under 13 to join. You will be presented with that form upon their registration.

I am doing the same with the adults section. You need your own place without parents poking in :) If you are an adult with sb, just click the group and Dodger will get your access back.
So, PLEASE bear with me as we get everyone in their right groups and report any issues here.
