Hi, I'm another "Newbi" to the site!

I am a 43 year old male with Spina Bifida. I am not certain which level I have but according to the diagram, it appears that I am most likely a L4 or 5. I have quite a bit of mobility in that I do not require the assistance of a cane, braces, etc although I am unable to walk or stand for long periods of time due to poor muscle tone in the lower legs. My main issues are neurogenic bladder with constant UTI's. I look forward to sharing my thoughts and issues with everyone and hope that I will be able to help someone in doing so.

hi and welcome. your case sounds very close to my nine year old son. he can walk without braces, although he wears them when he goes outside the house to give him more support and they help him to walk easier. will be nice being aboe to get to know you

Hey there welcome to the group I am 49 m . S 3-4 I am mobile too but with afos . Also have trouble with Neurogenic bladder with that pesky incontinence .
