Hi Kali

Which country and city/area?

I'm in a small town in the rural Karoo region in the middle of South Africa.

Regards

Roger

P.S.
"South Africa" is the proper name of a specific a country (which rather unsurprisingly is the southernmost one in Africa) while "North Africa" is just a description of a part of the continent which contains a number of countries such as Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, etc.
Please excuse the lecture but its a bugbear of many Africans that a lot of foreigners, particularly North Americans, never distinguish between different countries in Africa. I remember once being severely irritated by a news report about the travels of a senior US government official: "The Under-Secretary went on a whirlwind tour of Britain, France, Germany, Russia and Africa."
In Africa he actually visited 6 different countries but CNN couldn't be bothered to name them! Even Oprah (who should know better!) travels to "Africa" quite often but she never seems to visit Kenya, Botwana, Zambia or South Africa.
Ok thats the end of my rant!
