Hello, My name is Rachel, and i just got married last summer to my dream man... (yay) I do not have spina bifida, but my husband has spina bifida occulta (he would never have known this if not for a baseball injury, as he had no side effects.) My husbands brother and sister have spina bifida, and we just lost his brother a few weeks before our wedding. We have been to genetics counselling to discuss the health of our future children. I am new to learning about spina bifida, but im anxiously soaking up all info about it

hello! im lola, im pregnant and my baby has spina bifida. i think i may have the occulta version because of a bunch of symptoms, and im going to be looking into it later. did your husband have any symptoms of spina bifida occulta? i had "behavior problems" groing up and was born with a small hairy patch in the middle of my lower back.
