Just came back from another sonogram and I couldnt be happier! Im 33 weeks and she is weighing in at 4lbs 5oz! They estimate a birth weight of 6 to 7lbs! As far as her brain is concerned one side is normal and the other is mild (its been the same since diagnosis) no signs of arnold chari syndrome. Her spina bifida starts at around L5 and ends about S3or 4... My doctor said based on my last 2 sonograms there is a possibility that the sac is more fluid filled than actual spinal cord! I was so happy 2 hear that... even though nothing is definate till she gets here! Its just nice to hear positive news :) Her feet are clubbed but during the sonogram she actually wiggled her toes!!! Not sure the doctor even knew what to say! lol! I have been prepared for the worst since the beginning and I still am but Im confident that she is gonna do just fine! If she anything like me she already is strong willed and determined! My doctor said Ill see you and 4 weeks and you should have your baby in 6!!!! Cant wait for her arrival :) I love her so much and I know Im only gonna fall more in love when I see her! Hope everyone is having a great week!
