Hi everyone.
Just had to share this with you.
My son, now eight, went for a check-up yesterday at a new orthopaedic surgeon. He had a lumbar fusion in April 06.
Everything looks fine - only 5% off the mark in his upper back, which the doc said can be compensated and controlled with physio and teaching him to sit straight. Very good bone growth, beautiful strong skin everywhere.
The new ortho is a very nice person, who chatted with my son directly, and not discussing "the condition" with me only.
It was so nice to hear just good news for a change!
