Hi,

My name is Jim and I am a new member here. A little about me: I am a 34-year-old male professional. I was born with Spina Bifida and had hydrocephalus and a meningecele. I have a shunt in my head that goes to my abdomen. I have full mobility, which I am very grateful for. As I am getting older, I am experiencing some health 'issues' because of Spina Bifida. The reason I joined this group is that I am hoping to meet others in this forum who can give me advice on my situation. I also hope to make some new friends. I'll check back soon, thanks!

- Jim

Hi and welcome. There is an adult section here that is hidden to guests. I would suggest posting some of your specific questions in that area. We have some great adults with a lot of knowledge and real life experinece (Dodger comes to mind but there are many others)

My latest child is my daughter who was born in 2006 with a meningocele SB and i think she has Tethered cord also.
