I'm wondering how anyone has been sterilizing their reusable catheters?

Since I've been cathing Nickolas 3x a day I'm reusing his catheters and sterilizing them every morning in a pot of boiling water. Is there an easier way to sterilize his catheters?
What has anyone else been using.

Thanks for any help

I used to use an empty wipe box with just a little rubbing alcohol. Now I just wash it with soap and water and let it dry in a cup like thing with a paper towel.

I keep it in a "Milton" solution - as instructed by the supplier.
After use I rinse it under the hot tap (no soap or anything else) and then it goes back into the storage tube. I put in fresh Milton solution every other day.
Its a silicone catheter that I replace about once a year (about US$30) when the smoothness wears out.

I use to boil hannahs too but i have been washing them in hot hot water with a tad bit of soap BEFORE and AFTER each cathing. With this technique we have had less UTIs. If i go out I never reuse i always just cath and toss.

Another soap/water user here, then air dry in a cup. If I'm going out, I take new caths that I rinse and store in a little plastic container til I get home and can wash them properly.

Hmm, kind of glad I use single-use catheters! All of that seems like such a faff to me. I'd also worry about getting it clean enough.

We reuse, I wash them with hot soap and water, rinse well. use a 10cc syringe to puff some air through and let them finish drying in a cup. I use disposable caths when I'm out of the house. I toss out the 3 caths I use daily every Friday. And replace with new ones.

I use metal ones, my Mum used to boil them in a saucepan (kept specifically for that purpose, never used for anything else) every few days (when I ran out). When I started looking after the whole thing myself we discovered that I could just soak them in a disinfectant and water mixture - I use a kidney dish, a plastic one, to do this and to store the used ones til I need to soak them. Was once told I could use Miltons by a pharmacist when they stopped making/selling liquid savlon solution here, but she apparently thought I used the plastic catheters, so the few times I used Miltons started taking the coating off the catheters and making them look really bad - also black stuff came out from inside them, which can't be good! In case no-one else realizes, do not use Miltons with metal catheters or objects - it wrecks them and probably makes them dirtier or no cleaner than they were to begin with. When I am stuck out without enough catheters I do just rinse them under the hot water tap and re-use them. Seems to be OK - no UTI's caused the few times I've had to do it.
