This link raises awareness for school children with disabilities from other school children. I thought it was pretty interesting. I know here at the local school, they had our myelo nurse come in to do an inservice, which was helpful; however, they only did this for grades P-3, when the school houses many more students than that. I think this would be pretty exceptional if they would/could do this, but I don't think they'd bother. :(

At any rate, I thought it was a great idea. It doesn't specifically mention SB, but I know my children fell into a couple areas that they did mention.....the walker and OT skills. Interesting!!:cool:

You're welcome. I've wanted to get on the PC and research the program somewhat but with the weekend ahead arriving way too soon, I get on here to catch a message or 2 and that's about it - until next week when kiddos return to school.
