Hi I was born with Spina Bifida in 1958 . my lesion is low Sacral and I have always been able to walk with the aid of lower leg braces. I guess my bigest problem has always been in the area of continence . Growing up my incontinence and my braces had always been a source of embarassment and some loneliness , but I came to believe I could overcome these relatively minor problems and be grateful and happy in life. I live with my wonderful girlfriend of 9 years and my little dog Sparky , I try to not let my SB " issues " the incontinence , the diapers , my afo's, get in the way of living a full live .
