UTI & Strep

Hunter got his firat UTI two weeks ago. the urolist put him on Bactrim. he took two dosages of it then we went back to his peds Dr. His brother had strep. I had the peds Dr. test for Strep on hunter as well (cause my kids like to share) and of course Hunter had strep.Peds dr put him on Suprex for 10 days. I called uro Dr. to see how or if we should take the meds together Uro said to take the 10 days of Suprex and then resume the Bactrim.so we were on antibiotaics for 18 days, now we have a yeast infection.... What do we do?

Take a probiotic supplement and eat live culture yoghurt. For the future, always take a probiotic and yoghurt with as well as after antibiotics. (2 weeks of probiotics for every 1 week of antibiotics)
In fact having yoghurt daily is a good idea anyway for our "lazy" bowels.
