SpinaBifidaConnection.com is growing rapidly and to keep up with demand we are in need of some much needed upgrades to our hardware and software. Because of this I am reaching out to you in hopes that you can help connect me with some potential site sponsors. I am hoping we can find some high quality service/product providers that will add value to our site.

I have created a media kit with all the information that a company would need to decide to sponsor us. If you can think of any companies that you have a relationship with that would be a great sponsor for spina bifida please send the kit on to them. If you would rather have me handle it please just send me the contact information and I will get in touch.

Some examples might be wheelchair reps/companies, supplies, other dme's, even hospitals or therapy places may be interested.

Also, if any of you have a business and want to sponsor after looking at the media kit let me know and I can give you a 20% discount.

Here is the link to the kit: http://spinabifidaconnection.com/sbcmedia.pdf
There is also a link to it on the bottom on the site.

Hope you are all having a wonderful July!
Barb

PS: I think I contacted everyone whose pictures I used in the kit but if I somehow missed you and you want it removed let me know and it will be gone ASAP.

I work at a rehab hospital for spinal cord injuries/birth defects. I'll ask around.

I like it! :dance2:

Add the word "worldwide" to the intro:

"Started by the parents of a child with spina bifida in 2005, our site has developed into a worldwide community driven support forum for individuals and families affected by spina bifida."

Can you add a few more countries to the stats on page 5?

Is it worth mentioning on page 6 that this site is one of only 3 external links on Wikipedia's article about SB that has been there for more than 2 years?

Barb -- This looks great!

I have three suggestions for companies to contact:

www.allegromedical.com
www.walkeasy.com
www.fetterman-crutches.com

Also http://www.sunrisemedical.com - Quickie wheelchairs and Jay seating are just two of their brands. They are also a global company, not just US.

Don't only look at mobility equipment makers, also talk to:
Travel agencies and vacation resorts who specialise in serving disabled clients
Sport organisations
Accessible design consultants/architects
Legal and Human rights advocvacy services
Relevant government departments and agencies
Oh and don't forget the companies that make our catheters too.
