Well a month later and Hunter has Strep again... I wonder what could be causeing this... he has had his tonsels and adnoids taken out and tubes put in his ears... somehow we still keep getting strep...

That is very likely the source of the problem - his natural defences against strep have been removed.

Tonsils and adenoids are supposed to catch the bugs. Take them out and the defences against germs that come in through the mouth are drastically weakened.

He could be a strep carrier. Or, he could have a resistant strain and need a more targeted antibiotic.
