Hi, my name is Julie and I am 41 years old. I was born with Spins Bifida in 1965. I was pretty lucky from what I hear for being born with SB back in 65 and turning out as well as I did. I can walk with short leg braces and I've had a Urinary Ostomy since age 4. I will go more into it later on if anyone is interested. LOL. I'm glad this site exists!

hi I am very interested in your story. I just found out two years ago I have SB and do not know much about it. Can not get answers from doctor and really need to know what kind of doctor I need to see who know more about SB. I was adopted and do not think my biological mother knew anything about this. The first doctor who diagnis this said it was the types of jobs I did in my life made this come out. I have been diabled know for two years and having a real hard time dealing with this. I need to respond with someone who is going through this as an adult. I was born in 1965 also and this is the first time I heard anything about SB
