of the tech kind....the mental/ emotional kind can come later (haha)....anyway...does anyone here have a Comcast HD DVR and a blu ray player? I got one yesterday that seems to work fine except now, when I watch tv ( as opposed to the blu ray) no sound comes from the tv. It is driving me crazy! Any help would be appreciated thank you. :help:

But if you don't get any replies on here try logging on to "V3.co.uk" It's a fantastic forum and they will answer any question about TV, Computers, etc, etc.

Hi Justy,I don't have a Comcast DVR so I can't directly relate.First make sure all your connections between TV. and DVR are okay.I do have a Philips DVR and have run into your issue with it once or twice.The solution I found that worked for me is a "hard reset" and all that is,is to unplug the DVR from the wall outlet,leave it unplugged for ~2 minutes and then plug it back in.

If you have surround sound check that you select the correct input on your sound system.

Thank you everyone! It's nice to know I have good help when I need it :) The hard reset worked! And I did I have to rework the input on my sound system. I should have asked for your help earlier lol....thanks so much!!
