Yes, Fall is barely in the air here in CO but since we all know how long it takes to actually get any equipment I started the process early. Cart's new snow tires came today.
We were at a clinic appt a few weeks ago and there was an adult chair user there that we were chatting with about getting ready for winter. Carter HATES wearing gloves in the winter and this guy said he felt the same way. He actually used a rubberized grip over his silver wheel rims in the winter. See, why does no one tell you this kind of stuff??? I had no idea this was an option. So when they dropped off the wheels today I asked them to see about pricing on these covers and they had no idea what I was talking about.
So, for those of you who have seen these covers here are some varieties:

http://www.rehabmart.com/product/wheelease-wheelchair-rim-cover1-10637.html

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002IKED1W?&tag=shopwiki-us-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325
My question is to those of you who have used them...what advice do you have for buying? The faux leather ones seem like they are the least obvious? What is easiest to use? Holds up the best? I haven't been able to find the ones this guy had. They were like a thin rubber (not latex).
