I want to thank everyone who has helped to bring information to our community about the Xiao procedure. From those bringing supporting information to those with opposing views and the personal experiences we have had some interesting discussions. But for now, we would like those discussions to come to an end. This is not about limiting peoples access to information. This is a move that myself and the moderating team feel is important for our community at this time.

For those looking to access more information on this procedure here are some links where it is being discussed outside the forum:

From Dr. Xiao (supporting view)
Dr. Peters, Prof. and Chairman, reported the 2 year results of Xiao Procedure at Beaumont Hospital, USA, a few months ago. They are carrying out the last and 3 year followup recently and the results are even better.

Since the first trial results are very good, NIH awarded $2.3m recently for a multicenter trial of the Xiao Procedure.
