Could there be a specific area made for posting things like this? It is helpful information, but I agree that not everyone cares. If there was a certain place for posts like this, the people who do care would have access and the people who don't won't have to read it. Just my idea.

Well, this is the "off topic" section -- I think we shouldn't allow people to market stuff they personally profit from (like selling Avon or Herbalife), but I do think it is okay to post something like this that people might be interested in. We talk about sports & the weather in this section -- why not a good coupon deal?

If it's a 50% off coupon at say Gap, then it's nothing special. They come up quite often.
