:fyi:While clearing up a pile of old papers I (re)discovered a copy of an article the urologist gave me at the time he did my surgery. So I

The article describes the construction of a "neo-bladder" which I needed because my natural bladder is too shrunken and hardened by scarring to be usable.
My surgery differed from from the procedure described in the article. My original bladder was not removed (the cases in the article involve bladder cancer) and of course my sphincter and urethra is useless anyway so instead of attaching the pouch to the the existing bladder neck I got a Mitrofanoff.
Some of the articles listed as references also look interesting and may be well worth searching.
