hey there yall whats up?! i'm new to this site, i was born with spina bifida. had surgery when i was two and havent had to deal with, or have any probs with my back up intill about two years ago..... and is seems to put my life in a swing that i wasnt ready for! so here i am.... hopin to talk to some of you, i know my situation is as bad as it could be and other people always have it worste but..... i'm still nervous.... i suppose i should stop jabberin and tell a lil story bout what happened two years ago lol.... i was out gettin ready to bowl with my bf son and daughter, i bent over to pick up my son, and didnt even get him off the ground, and it felt like someone was rippin my back wide open, i lost my breath....... needless to say i went to the er.... they found i had a tumor that was connected to my spinal cord.....so a year after that.... i had the surgery done to remove it.... well things were good for about the first 8 months or so, then i started gettin a lil pain here lil pain there... when i would bend over i would get a small head ach... things just seemed to progress....well bout two weeks ago, i went back to my surgen for my year checkup and when he looked at my MRI sure enough i said he has to do the surgery again, but this time was to fix my nerves and put some type of patch in... anyone every done this or even heared of it? anyways i'm here to learn and be here for others i'm a great listener and love talking to people who under stand what your going threw!
