Social groups in northern Nevada

Hi,

I live in northern Nevada, about an hour from Reno. I was wondering if anyone knew of a group of people with Spina Bifida or wheelchair users that gets together or does social activities on a semi-regular basis.

Wow. I don't know NV too well at all, nowadays or ever. But back in the 80's, when I used to do wheelchair track and field in the NWAA's junior tour, there was a great local team called Reno's Raddest Racers. I can't really remember any names, just a 40-something guy with a bowl cut that was one of the guys in charge (he had a wheelchair). Really really nice bunch of folks. I'm assuming it was supported by Reno's park/rec department, but I'm not sure.

I do recall they attracted folks from all the way in Quincy, CA.
