:fyi: I have been reading the most incredible book. Many of you may have read it already, but I wanted to post the name of it in case there are some of you who haven't: Living With Spina Bifida (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0807855472?ie=UTF8&tag=httpchaoticco-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=0807855472) by Adrien Sandler.

I honestly wish I had heard of it before. My daughter is 6 (on Tuesday) and the book has helped me understand her much more thoroughly. Many things in SB kids are linked to the SB, but my doctors have never mentioned them, like visual/spatial issues, ambliopia (lazy eye), learning disabilities especially in math and several other things.

Anyway, just thought that if there is even one of you who has been as lost as I have especially in this last year, that you would might find some answers in that book!

By the way, if any of you have read other books that have helped you a bunch, please tell me about them!

I have all of them except for the Spina Bifida Management one which is really pricey. I have one VERY similar to that written by Harold Rekate that I don't believe is in print any longer. You can also see a list of the books at the bottom of the forum on the main page
