Hi all.

Well this has been the week from hell. On friday my brothers lost their grandmother. Then on saturday night something I never throught would happen did. I lost a very dear friend to me from high school. She had poly cystic kidney disease and died in her sleep at the age of 27. She had been on dialysis most of her life except for when she got her mother's kidney when we were 16. She later rejected it when she was 18 due to unfortunate circumstances. Her funeral was thursday and it is something I never want to go through again. It turned into a nightmare 10 year class reunion. Unfortunately we will all have to do it all over again in june because it is 10 years. So, please pray for her family. Her parents are completely devastated. A lot of us are worried about her mom and try to keep in contact with her everyday. Also, please pray for my brothers and their grandfather. Thank you so much.

Hi Summer, How dreadful for you. My sympathy goes out to you and I do hope that the reunion goes okay or as well as possible.
I am not of any particular religous persuasion but my thoughts are with you.

Take care and lots of love and hugs from me ...Emm

I am so sorry for your loss. It is devistating to lose a best friend from high school. It is so nice of you and your other friends to visit with her parents, I'm sure that means the world to them. My prayers will be with your brothers as well.

Thinking of you. It's really hard losing someone that is the same age, or even younger than you are. I've been through it twice..

Sending :happy065: This reminds me of my cousin's death in a horrible car smash, just two weeks before her 21st birthday.

I've had frriends (and lost them) in the past not with that disease, but others requiring transplantation. It's sad that while trransplant is a life extender when things go right, it doesn't last forever.

Extremely sorry to hear of your loss.

Sorry for your loss, I'm feeling it, a funeral was held locally yesterday for a young lad 32yrs/SB who I played basketball with over the last couple of years, I'm only on the fringe of his social life, I've known of his struggle with bowel cancer, but I am knocked/shocked/bewildered!

All the best to you and your friends.

Sean.
