Hello Everyone,
My name is Summer. I am 25 and live in Florida. I was born with a lesion starting at T10 which I was paralyzed from about hips down. At the age of 11 I had tether cord surgery that paralyzed me to about T6. So, I have no feeling from chest down. I also have hydrocephalus, arnold chiari, GERD, and just recently diagnosed with Myocolonic seizures in my stomach due to the tether cord surgery. I have had close to 50 surgeries with the most recent being 3 years ago to remove my left ureter. I also have an ACE and Mitrofanoff. I have a severe latex allergy that has turned into anaphalaxis once already due to a surgery about 7 years ago. Right now, I am not in school, but plan on going back to college next semester for something in health. I started a B.S. program for special education teaching and it just wasn't for me. I work at a wheelchair company, so that is why I am thinking something in health. I love music. Mostly pop and rock. I also love going to concerts. I also love sports. I love going to hockey and baseball games. I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. Hope everyone has a great day and great rest of the week.
