Hello. I am 26 weeks preg atm. I have a 3 year old son with very mild autism. My unborn son has sb in the lower region. Thats all we really know atm. Apart from he has the classic lemon head and excess fluid in his skull. Have my next scan on Dec 10th. Apart from that I am carrying on as normal and seeing my midwife monthly. All I have been told is that I will need to have a c section and it will be earlier then 40 weeks. I live 3 hours away from the hospital so I am thinking I might go early. One of my main worryies is neglecting my other child. He needs extra attention from me that I wont beable to give him.
Wishing you both the best.

Janjanwhit,
I think you should think of the baby as enriching your autistic son's environment. I'm betting you'll be pleasantly surprised by how well he adapts.

Hi Donna!
I have been wondering how everything is going with you. I can't believe your baby boy will be here in just 6 weeks. Keep us posted. My thought are with you!
JanJan,
Best of wishes to you as well!

Sometimes i feel selfish having another child when my son needs so much attention. I think that having another child will help him socialise and learn to share. Especially because hes such a mummys boy I think it would be good to have more time away from me and with his father.
