I am having a hard time finding a pediatrician that is both experienced with Spina Bifida and now more importantly ADD. My 6 year old daughter is on a healthy diet and we avoid foods that are bad for ADD kids. She tried Focalin for a while and it worked really well but she developed a really bad stutter after a while even on the absolute lowest dose. So we switched her to Stratera which takes a long time to build up and it is messing with her blood pressure, giving her fevers and nausea. I need to find a doctor in Ventura County, Ca. that can help.
I can't help with finding a doc in that area but can sympathize with the reactions to Statera. We tried that for a little bit a few years ago and it was awful for C. Made him just absolute bonkers.
Welcome!

most ADD meds case those symptoms, i've been on all of them and combinations of them for my adhd and none helped, all i got were wicked side effects. also something to consider, some are super addictive and hard to get off of later. vyvanse is one that i know some people are taking and really like it and it's suppose to be less habit forming.
