Be careful... Those in their 40's might be upset! lol

Actually neither... A friend of mine has a son with SB. She has taught me a lot about it :)

I am her friend and I own the forum. Holly helps me a lot with my sites. This is one that I have because SB is so close to my heart. My 9 year old son has SB.

There is a pretty equal mix here of parents and adults with SB. Glad you here!

was just wondering as a adult if there is any help for sb?I have genitic sb,as a child my mom had me do exercises every night as she would help.she never mentioned i had it but i knew she had lost 6 baby;s to sb then they gave here something to help develop the babys spines 5 more children were bore .
me being the baby of the family, mom got sick while pregnant with me ,my spine was closed when i was born but is very nerrow. As a child i could move around well but as ive gotten older its not so easy.i can still walk which i was told i wouldnt be doing thanks to my mom.Sometimes i get up though and my leg doesnt work ,then after a few minutes it does again.I am on pain meds daily.I just applied for disability and was denied. So i tried to once again work .I worked 4 days 1 week and 4 the next then the doctor had me off >well still off.i really dont know what to do .any suggestions?
thanks twiladawn
