I suppose this is rather common with sb - but I was wondering is anyone had encountered similar issues . I have sensory loss from my knees down so I've always had issues with hurting my feet by accident . I'll stub my toes bad and even break them and not know it except by seeing the bruising or swelling. well my left leg has alway been worse and my girlfriend noticed the top of my left foot is all purple and its been that way for a long time now so we know its not a break . Could this be related to poor circulation as my left leg had had bad cirulation and yucky veins forever. I hate having yucky feet .

as a mother of a little boy with sb, who also doesnt have feeling in his feet. I have recently noticed that his little baby toe looks swelled , but he doesnt feel anything. I am sure it must be broken. so as a mother I recomend you to go get your leg checked. as that is exactly what I am going to do for my son. take care

A warm footbath (warm not hot!) or a massage with a plain skin cream works for me when my feet go blue.
Keep your toenails properly trimmed. If mine get long I can rip one right off just by putting on a sock.
Always wear good shoes when you are moving about.
Take extra care when bathing because wet skin is fragile!

I can't feel my feet and for kicks when i was little i would rip off my tonails just to see my mom:eek: I have sense outgrown that but i have hurt mine in so many ways and never felt a thing. It is hard for me to really see them as anything more than decoration. I paint my toenails to make em as pretty as possible and that is about all the attention i pay to them. I know that isn't good but it's the truth!!!

Take extra care when bathing because wet skin is fragile!
